The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with the New Zealand-German Business Association and eclareon GmbH will host an industry conference on 6 June 2016 surrounding the visit of a German business delegation for energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings. The event is proudly supported by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
The promotion of renewable energies and energy efficiency in Germany has resulted in the establishment of an industry which offers some of the world’s leading technologies. This industry encompasses several thousand small and medium-sized enterprises specialised in the development, design and production of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency solutions, grids and storage. This is the basis for smart energy solutions.
The transfer of energy expertise, the promotion of foreign trade and the facilitation of international development cooperation are part of the “energy solutions - made in Germany” initiative. For the second time since 2012, Melbourne hosted a German trade delegation for energy efficient building technologies from 6 to 10 June. The 2016 industry conference, organised with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the New Zealand-German Business Association and eclareon GmbH in Berlin, welcomed 80 guests interested in the German renewable energy and green building sectors. Six German companies were invited to showcase their technolo-gies and share their experience.
